The company now known as TUXEDO SERVICE COMPANY began in 1981 as Huckabee Heating and Air. Founded by Ernest Huckabee, along with his sons Wayne and Billy, Huckabee Heating and Air acquired Tuxedo Plumbing; an Atlanta based plumbing company founded in 1945. In early 2007, TUXEDO SERVICE COMPANY became a full service, one call company with the ability to handle service, sales and installation of residential and commercial plumbing, heating and air, and electrical needs.

Wayne Huckabee, a certified master plumber and licensed heating and air contractor assumed the position as head of the service division for both the plumbing and heating and air companies. The staff currently consists of 9 plumbers and 7 HVAC technicians and is constantly growing.

The electrical services of TUXEDO SERVICE COMPANY is provided by the Heritage Electric Group, a locally owned and operated full service electrical company led by master electrician Jeff Knowles and certified electrician Ronnie Hilderbrand.

Jack Prater heads up the customer relations and marketing divisions. Jack’s previous experience is as an owner and operator of restaurants from 1977 through 1997. Since 1997, Jack has been the Director of Construction and Development for a chain of day spas located in the Atlanta area.

Rounding out the TUXEDO SERVICE COMPANY team is Roger Barnett. Roger serves as the service supervisor and is a master carpenter and all around handyman committed to excellent service and attention to detail.
